WE ARE AN OREGON REGISTERED NONPROFIT CORPORATION - Pending IRS 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status. (In the interim tax deductable donations can be made directly to the Coquille School District for our use as "Donor Designated Funds") Donor Cards available upon request.
Our web site has been developed - not as a brochure, but for the purpose of sharing a wide range of up to date information regarding Coquille Kids and Coquille Educational Needs, Programs and Successes. For that reason, you may want to check back often. A new website has been established to provide information that may be of interest to Coquille Kids and their parents. The foundation has also sponsored - two other new web sites which are: www.coquillecentral.com (coquille information and activities) and www.coquillebb.com (Coquille Basketball Club for youths, 3rd Grade to 6th grade)
The make up of the Coquille Education Foundation Board of Directors includes - one principal, one teacher, one alumni of 1953, one retired executive director of a school district/education foundation/parent, one county professional/parent and one volunteer parent. The Coquille School District Superintendent is a non-voting District Advisor. The board oversees seven (7) committees that help with the operations of the foundation
Board Member Positions Available - We currently are seeking representative board members from parents, the business community and/or the community at large. Contact Terry Schwerdtfeger, President, at TerryS12@msn.com for an application or additional information.
