FOUNDATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Secretarial Services - Part time, some work can be done at home, type correspondence, proof read communications and board packets, make phone calls and work with the president and secretary/treasurer, oversee volunteers.

Clerical Assistance - Part time, some work may be done at home, assist secretary, make phone calls, maintain files, run off copies, assemble board packets, provide assistance to the volunteer program.

Marketing Assistance - Developing booklets, letters and brochures. calling on businesses, banks, etc.  Return calls to answer questions.  Help establish an email campaign.

Bookkeeping Services - Maintain foundation's financial records.

Legal Services - Provide legal advice to the board, help in the submittal of corporation documents and applications.   Provide assistance to donors who may have need of legal advice.

 

SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Teacher / Classroom Assistant - Help in the classroom as defined by the teachers.

School Office Assistant - Assist the secretary and clerk as assigned.

Testing Assistant - Help teachers in spring and fall.

Visual Aide - To do bulletin boards. stenciling and cutting out letters, laminate posters, hanging and arranging students' work, etc.

Library Aide - Sort and file books, send out late notices and help with book fairs.

Cafeteria Assistance - Assist supervision teachers during lunch / recess hours.

Playground Assistance - On the playground, assisting the supervision teacher by watching/monitoring children in their games to ensure their safety.  Ensure balls, ropes, etc. are used correctly and return to the required spot at end of play.

Room Parent - Assist teacher in planning classroom activities, celebrations, and field trips.

Hospitality - When contacted by principal or designated staff member, to provide assistance or coordinate assigned activities in association with open house, parent conference, staff appreciation day, etc.

Baby Sitting - Monitor children for special school events and programs.  Need several adults who can be assisted by teens.

Painting Partners - Work with other volunteers with painting of classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, etc.  Most of the work would be done during summer, but may on occasion be utilized during the school year.

Clerical - Word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, etc.  some work may be done at the school and perhaps some can be done from home if a computer is available.

General Assistance - On call for a variety of needs where several volunteers are needed.
